A term used to describe a reproduction process, rather than a paper or board. A master sheet, prepared with a special carbon paper, is attached to a cylinder and the paper, moistened slightly with a fluid, is processed by the cylinder. The moistened sheet has the effect of dissolving ink from the master sheet, giving an impression on the paper surface.
